Choose a book you are willing to return to. A familiar story is easier to read out loud.

The first page is enough for today. You do not need to understand it before you start.

Read that page loudly
Say every word you can. If one is new, say it anyway and keep the sentence moving.
The English is on the page. Your voice does the rest.
You do not have to understand the book first. Read it out loud, one page at a time, and let the sound become familiar.
